I was fortunate to have all three lecturers teaching me in my two week super intensive beginner course. They have very unique styles in their teaching, one very structured and personal, one very interesting with elements of cultural exchange and the other funny and 'divertidad'. They are all highly qualified and experienced, and on top of all they are very personalized in their teaching approach. The teaching modules were tailored to my personal needs. I must say this school is excellent.
El curso me gustó mucho, la atmósfera fue buenísimo, el profesor era muy competente, capaz y afectuoso. Pude mejorar mis conocimientos del idioma de la manera interesante que disfrute mucho.
The teacher was great, nice and funny. The classroom was very will equipped and I enjoyed having such a small group. We were only 2 students. Therefore, I learned a lot in the time availalbe to me.
The course was very intensive with a great balance of activities. I enjoyed it and learned a lot! Great change between classroom learning and Ibowis Life Method.
The classes were great and I learned a lot of Spanish in a short time. It was great to get the practice, and my teacher Yeray is a good judge of when to change subjects and teaching methods. I had classes for 5 hours a day, and it was never boring.
Hola! Me encantaron las clases mucho más que el curso que tenemos cada semana en la universidad. Hicimos muchas cosas diversas: juegos, canciones, gramática… ¡fue la primera vez que sentí el pretérito indefinido! Especialmente en la segunda clase el tiempo voló porque fue muy diferente, me encanta hablar mucho en las clases como hicimos hoy. También me gustó nuestro grupo de alumno, hemos reído mucho.
Hola! Me llamo Johanna, tengo 21 anos.Yo estudio educatión infantil en Berlin. En verano yo he ido de Gran Canaria de Au Pair, por 6 semanas. Yo vivo in Play del hombre, en una parte de Telde, cerca de Las Palmas. Yo no hablo espanol, y he ido de clases de espanol en Las Palmas. La escuela se llama "ibowis". A mi me gusta Mucha la escuela. Despues de solo 2 semanas yo he aprendido un poco espanol y tengo mucho vocabularia para estudier en casa!
La primera clase no me gustó tanto como la segunda clase. En la primera clase hemos escuchado demasiadas canciones. Me gusta más hablar español todas las clases porque es mejor para aprender el idioma. Tengo un poco miedo para hablar en español. La segunda clase me gustó más porque el profesor Yeray hizo muchas cosas muy divertidas con nosotros. El juego “citas rápidas” me gusta mucho. He entendido bien los tiempos en español. The location is perfect. The school is right in the city center, close to where I was living. The classroom is quite large and has a lot of useful equipment to study & learn Spanish: a very wide table, computer with internet & white board. Everything is very clean & tidy.The school has great teachers who are very professional and young. In only two classes i learned a lot of grammar and conversation. I prefer to come to Ibowis rather than to my college Spanish class because it´s more personal.
I think Ibowis is a very innovative language school because of their idea mixing a Spanish language school together with a travel agency. The classrooms are great and modern equipped with computer, DVD and all you need for a great class. Also, the administrators and teachers are very kind, professional and capable. The school also offers along with their Spanish courses surf lessons at the beach or hiking. In conclusion, why are you not inscribing yourself for a class?
Me gustan las personas que trabajan aquí y puedo decir que son muy amables, educados, simpáticos y sonrientes.
Las clases fueron muy divertidas. Me gustaron los métodos diferentes. Los profesores son muy simpáticos y yo no tuve miedo de hablar. Los otros estudiantes hablan español un poco mejor pero no pasó nada. Ahora mi español es todavía una mierda, pero aprendí muchas cosas, por ejemplo escribir sobre cosas pasadas. ¡ El tiempo voló muy rápido!
