The LanguageBookings.com operates the website LanguageBookings.com and other domains, which lead the user to this website and its sub-domains. By using the website, private and professional third parties ("student / guest") can book accommodation and other travel services ("service") at Language schools, hosts and travel service providers ("service providers"). The language school, hosts and service providers trade for their own account.

1. Using this website

Your use of this website is subject to your irrevocable acceptance without modification of these terms of use (the 'Terms') and you agree to use this website in accordance with and subject to these Terms. The Terms as set out hereunder constitute the entire agreement between you and LanguageBookings.com. If you do not read or accept these Terms, do not use this website. By accessing any part of the LanguageBookings.com website, you consent to be bound by these Terms. As a condition of your use of this website, you undertake to LanguageBookings.com that you will not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. 

2. Before you book:

(i) Insurance

We strongly advised to all students to take out insurance in case of the need to return home early, medical conditions and other unpredictable circumstances.

(ii) Health declaration

If you have any illnesses, allergy or disability, this must be reported to the the service providers at the time of confirmation of the booking.

(iii) Visa approval

 It is responsibility of the student to arrange all applicable travel permits or visas and to have a valid passport. LanguageBookings.com is not responsible for determining whether or not student needs a visa. Visa regulations change from time to time therefore we strongly advise you to contact the relevant Embassy/Consulate in your country for up to date information.

3. Service description

This website has been created and is operated by LanguageBookings.com an Irish company with a registered address at 88 Ivy Exchange, Parnell Street, Dublin 1. We operate as an intermediate between language schools, host and users in order to provide our users with the possibility to search and book language courses, accommodation and other services online. We do not provide, own or run any academic and/or accommodation services and in particular we do not provide, own or run any course and/or accommodation and any representations to the contrary are invalid.
Our service is based on information and the services provided by the language schools, host, users and the service providers in general. In addition to the LanguageBookings.com Terms & Conditions students are also subject to the rules and regulations governing the particular language school they are attending and/or the particular accommodation booked and any relevant service booked. LanguageBookings.com is not liable for damage or injury caused to persons or property arising from the agreement entered into between the customer and the the service providers selected and all disputes between you and the the service providers must be resolved as between the parties.

When you book with LanguageBookings.com you benefit from having the lowest price available for that course or accommodation, competent and friendly customer service should you have any questions or problems with your booking and we will endeavour to assist in whatever way we can should any difficulties arise.

For the purpose of your booking "Lowest Price Guarantee" means the guarantee issued by LanguageBookings.com (under this or any similar name) that LanguageBookings.com offers the Lowest rate for a course and in the event that a lower rate can be found online for the equivalent course with the same start date and finished dates and the same booking conditions the the service providers agrees to meet that lower price.

4. Reservation application

The "Book Now" button on the Shopping Cart's page will take you through a very quick, user-friendly online application system where you have to pay only a deposit on the booking total fees. Once a language school and or host has been chosen by you and a deposit has been paid, the the service providers will confirm availability of the services you require, once the school confirm availability for those services, you will receive a confirmation email with the balance of fees to be paid directly to the the service providers. The payment of the deposit does not mean that your place is confirmed, the confirmation of your place will be communicated to you within 48 hours after the payment of the deposit by email. You may be contacted by the the service providers  with an invoice for the remainder of the booking fees, and any other fees for services you have requested.
This invoice and the remainder of your booking fees must be paid in full in accordance with the terms set out by the language school prior to course start date or the terms set out by the host. Your place on any course and/or accommodation is not fully confirmed until such time as these fees have been paid, and the the service providers concerned has confirmed this payment. Failure to pay in full prior to arrival may result in loss of your place. We recomend to pay the fees in full at least two weeks prior the course start date.  
Prices in our website may fluctuate due to currency conversions. For the pre-payment or deposit, we will apply the exchange rate of the day (per XE.com rate at the time of booking). Your booking will be done in the currency of the school. Your registration (booking) is a binding agreement for you to complete the course and pay the fees in full. If payment is not received in full the student will not be allowed to start the course. Letter of Acceptance will not be issued until full payment has been received. All bank or credit card charges must be paid by you. While we forward the details of your booking to the the service providers selected, we cannot guarantee the course booking until all fees due are fully paid. Nevertheless we will do our best to accommodate you in the course and accommodation of your choice.
Students required to be in possession of a visa to enter a country or territory should book the course and accommodation at least 8 weeks in advance. No flight ticket should be purchased until LanguageBookings.com confirms the student's place in the Language school and or accommodation. You are obliged to keep us and the service providers informed of any changes of address, your contact details and emergency contacts details. Please see below for further details of our privacy statement and data protection policy and if you have any difficulties with your booking, please contact info@languagebookings.com

5. Cancellations and refunds

I) General policy

By making a reservation trough us with a the service providers, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and refund policy of that particular the service providers, and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the the service providers that may apply to your reservation or during your stay, including for services rendered and/or products offered by the the service providers (the delivery terms and conditions of a language school can be obtained with the relevant language school).
The general cancellation and refund policy of each language school is made available on our website at the language school information pages, during the reservation procedure and in the confirmation email. Please note that certain rates or special offers are not eligible for cancellation or change. Please check the course and or accommodation details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation.
The user needs to accept the terms and conditions of the service providers prior to booking. The service provider is solely responsible for the correctness of the information in the terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the guest to clarify any ambiguity about the terms and conditions of the service provider prior to the booking.
If you wish to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein. Please note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with the service providers's cancellation and refund policy. We recommend that you read the cancellation and refund policy of the service providers carefully prior to making your reservation.
The deposit paid online is refundable with accordance with the terms set out by the the service providers prior to course start date. The administrative and banking costs will be deducted from any refund agreed.
The booking is subject to the the service providers's own cancellation policy. An administration fee may be charged by the the service providers in the event of cancellation. We recommend you read the cancellation policy of the the service providers carefully. LanguageBookings.com will not charge any additional cancellation fee. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the start of the course most the service providers may not charge a cancellation fee or will simply charge the inscription fee, which will have paid as part of the course fees, as cancellation fee. You are strongly advised to take insurance in case you are unable to start or to complete your course for reasons outside your control.

(ii) Cancellation by the the service providers

We make all reasonable efforts to provide the courses as set out in our website. Occasionally, the the service providers have to make changes to and correct errors in brochure and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed and cancel confirmed bookings. Whilst the service providers always endeavor to avoid changes and cancellations, they must reserve the right to do so.
Most changes are minor. If we have to make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. If there is time to do so before departure, we will offer you the choice of the following options: (for significant changes) accepting the changed arrangements or purchasing an alternative course from us, of a similar standard to that originally booked if available (if the chosen alternative is less expensive than your original one, we will refund the difference but if it is more expensive, we will ask you to pay the difference) or canceling or accepting the cancellation in which case you will receive a full and quick refund of all monies you have paid to us.
Please note, the above options are not available where any change made is a minor one No compensation will be payable and the above options will not be available if we cancel as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as paying on time).
If your reservation has been canceled by the the service providers, you will receive an email to confirm your cancellation. If you do not receive the cancellation email, please check your Spam/junk folder to see if the email is there. If you have not received a cancellation email in your inbox or Spam/junk folder, please contact our customer service team at info@languagelookings.com
Any amendment to the dates of stay of a Special Offer or Non Refundable reservation will be charged by the service providers and is non refundable due to the special deal.
LanguageBookings.com shall not accept any liability for losses, additional expenses or any claim whatsoever due to changes in accommodation or other academic services, sickness, weather, strikes or any other cause. All such losses, additional expenses or claims will be borne by you unless otherwise agreed between you and the service provider.

(iii) Cancellation due to visa refusal:

If you have been refused visa you must inform us immediately, failure to inform us with less than 14 days before the course start date will result in refund refusal. In event of visa refusal into the country where you book your course, official documentation of the application refusal and original documents from the language school (Letter of Acceptance) must be sent to us before refund can be considered. No refund will be issued where original documents have not been received. You must send these documents by recorded post and scanned by email to info@languagebookings.com. Where refund is to be issued due to visa refusal full course and accommodation fee will be refunded less bank and/or credit card charges.
Please note each school has their own visa refusal cancelation policy and some fee may be charged by the language school in this event. You can find the visa refusal policy of the school in the school profile in our website.
LanguageBookings.com nor the service providers will not issued any refund where: a) visa has been previously refused b) where visa is refused and/or cancelled due to poor non-attendance c) where the relevant Home Office, Embassy, Consulate or port of Entry immigration officials believe that you are not a bona fide or genuine student and subsequently refuses visa and/or entry to the country where you book your course/accommodation d) if student leaves the country during the course and its denied re-entry e) if appeal is pending f) where any information was falsified.

6. Termination policy

 
Termination means stopping or leaving all or part of the course and/or accommodation once the course has started. If you decide to terminate your course at any point after starting date no refund will made of tuition, accommodation or booking fees by LanguageBookings.com. Termination is in breach of the service providers’s termination policy. If you wish to terminate your course and/or accommodation service providers might ask you for a minimum 6 weeks written notice in order to provide you a refund for any unused course and/or accommodation, less this notice period and the course and/or accommodation booking fee. Please see the specific terms of the service providers profile you have selected prior to booking a course as you will be bound by these specific terms and conditions once you confirm the booking.

7. Public holidays

Classes are not held and most language school facilities are closed on public holidays. Most published courses start on Monday, if Monday is public holiday classes will start on Tuesday. No refunds, credits or any other form of compensation will be made for classes not available on public holidays.

8. Arranged pick up transfer

If you have booked a pick up and/or drop off service you must inform us with your exact flight details at least 1 weeks prior to your arrival. You should look for a driver in arrival hall holding a sign with your service providers name or/and your name and/or their name printed on the sign. If your flight was late more than 30 minutes you may be liable for additional charges. If you can’t find your driver and you decide to leave without contacting the service providers you will not be entitled to a refund. You must call service providers in case if you can’t find your driver before you decide to take alternative transport.

9. Accommodation

The language school and their providers provide accommodation if students book a full time course for the same period. Any such deposits which may be required for some types of accommodation, will be required at the time of booking and returned at the end of the rental period on the condition that there is no damage to the property.
As well LanguageBookings.com offers guests an online platform in the form of a market place for searching possible accommodation.
LanguageBookings.com offers the guests the option of placing up to three parallel booking inquiries for three different accommodation options for a particular period of time using the online platform. As soon as the booking inquiry is accepted by a host, the guest has concluded a valid contract with the latter; the further booking inquiries are forwarded automatically by LanguageBookings.com immediately and marked as rejected so that multiple bookings are excluded.
At its own discretion, LanguageBookings.com has the option of issuing vouchers in favor of the hosts within the framework of special promotions. LanguageBookings.com is not obligated to do this; the guest does not have any claim to any kind of special promotions.

10. Liability

Our service is based on information provided by service providers. Although we do our best effort to ensure that all information provided on this website is accurate, we cannot guarantee that all information is comprehensive and error-free, nor can we be held responsible for interruptions, inaccuracies, typographical errors or non-delivery of information.

(i) Content changes

Service providers cannot be held responsible for any changes that arise or errors that might have occurred. LanguageBookings.com cannot be held liable for changes to any of the content, or products and services published on this website at any time without notice. In addition, LanguageBookings.com makes no representations or warranties to the accuracy or completeness of the information accessible via this site. All bookings for courses and accommodation services on this website are made directly with the service providers concerned and not with LanguageBookings.com. We only facilitate the making of reservations with the service providers. LanguageBookings.com is not a party to the contract between you and the service providers.
Prior to making a booking, you should ensure that you have reviewed the service providersl's terms and conditions and that they are acceptable to you. LanguageBookings.com shall in no way be liable to you in the event that the course or accommodation services are not suitable for your purpose and this is a matter to be dealt with between you and the service providers in question

(ii) Links to third parties sites

This website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than LanguageBookings.com. Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only, in order to offer you an additional facility of this site. LanguageBookings.com does not control such websites and is not responsible for their contents or links included on these pages, which are protected by third party copyright. The inclusion of hyperlinks on this website to such other websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

(iii) Copyright

 No part of this internet site may be reproduced, wholly or in part, in any way, without obtaining the written consent of LanguageBookings.com.

11. Privacy policy

(i) Upload of content / release of liability

During the registration process the student / guest has the opportunity to create a publicly accessible service or search profile (see ((ii) Publicly accessible data). During this process the student / guest can upload content (particularly but not exclusively pictures) to the server of the LanguageBookings.com and/or on the server of the service provider of the LanguageBookings.com. The user is soley responsible for offers and content, such as images, that he uploads on the website or otherwise makes publicly available or distributes.
The student / guest guarantees to be in the possession of the property rights which are necessary for the publication of the uploaded content. The student / guest further guarantees not to violate any law or rights of third parties. The guest releases the LanguageBookings.com and its employees from all claims any third parties might raise, particularly from the related legal costs, including court and attorney fees. 

(ii) Right of use

By submitting content (text and images), the user grants LanguageBookings.com the following non-exclusive, transferable, temporally and spatially unlimited rights (including the right to grant sub-licenses) to the posted content, for the purpose of the offering LanguageBookings.com services:

In order to mediate bookings through its website the LanguageBookings.com requires personal and/or business data from student / guest and service providers, which will be accessible to all users of homestaybooking.com. During the registration process the LanguageBookings.com informs student / guest and service providers that the information provided by them will be made accessible to all users of the homestaybooking.com website.
The LanguageBookings.com can pass on to other registered student / guest or service providers publicly accessible data (e.g. student / guest and service provider profiles). Furthermore, visitors of the Languagebookings.com website can pass on the information contained in publicly accessible guest and service provider profiles via e-mail.

(iv) Data for booking mediation

Beyond publicly accessible data the LanguageBookings.com requires additional data from student / guest and service providers during the registration process, which are necessary for booking mediation. This data should contain a full name, street address, e-mail address, phone number etc. During the registration process the LanguageBookings.com informs service providers and student / guest that this data will be passed on to the other contracting party in the case of a successful booking mediation.
According to the terms of use, if the service providers foresee the transmission of the guest's credit card details, the LanguageBookings.com will transfer this data to the service provider. The service provider can charge the guest's credit card with an amount determined by the terms of use in the case of a no show (student / guest does not arrive). This cost is usually the cost of one night's stay / 1 week of language course. The LanguageBookings.com passes credit card data on to only authorized VISA and MASTERCARD partners. The LanguageBookings.com is not responsible for the legitimate use of the credit card data by the service provider.

(v) Reliability of the transmitted data

The student / guest assures that all information transmitted to the LanguageBookings.com is correct. This applies particularly to the uploaded content and photographs. The student / guest confirms that these photographs give a realistic impression of the uploaded search and service profile. This means, particularly but not exclusively, that a realistic appearance of the contracting persons is clearly discernible in the photographs. Any violation of this rule will cause the prompt deletion of the respective profile, and the immediate termination of the contract with the student / guest by LanguageBookings.com.

(vi) Translation of data

The LanguageBookings.com reserves the right to translate any collected data (interests of guests and service providers, service scope, etc.) into the languages in which LanguageBookings.com is available.

(vii) Usage of contact data by the LanguageBookings.com

The data collected during the registration process, particularly the e-mail addresses will be used by the LanguageBookings.com to inform service providers and student / guest about company news and to deliver information services (e.g. search agents). We also use your details to operate LanguageBookings.com and, occasionally, to inform you of new features, services and products from LanguageBookings.com. On occasions, we may supply statistics about our customers to third parties such as service providers or other agents. These statistics never contain personally identifying information and your security is of vital importance. If you do not wish to be part of this mailing list, please email info@languagebookings.com and we will remove your details in compliance with data protection law.

(viii) Data protection

The LanguageBookings.com uses the collected data only for the purposes mentioned in the terms of use. LanguageBookings.com maintains a high ethical standards and respects your privacy. LanguageBookings.com will not loan, rent or sell to any third parties any personal details that have been passed on to us without explicit prior permission. 
We would like to emphases that in accordance with European personal data protection laws, strict security procedures are observed at LanguageBookings.com to prevent personal data misuse and unauthorized access and please see our data protection policy below. If your personal data is incorrect, we will change it upon your request. You can also ask LanguageBookings.com to remove your personal data from its database by sending us an email to the email address below.

(i) Social Plug-ins

When you call up a website of ours on which a social plug-in (like button) is implemented, your browser will then establish a direct link to Facebook and will then transmit the following data to Facebook directly:

• date and time of your visit,

We also offer you the option of registering with us using the Facebook sign-up or registering via the log-in. If you would like to register or log in with us using the Facebook sign-up and/or log-in, you then permit us to:
Access your general details such as your name, profile image, gender, the user ID, your friend lists and all other data that you have made public in your profile.
Send you e-mails.
Post status reports on your behalf.
Also to access your data when you are not currently using the application.
Access your other profile information such as “About me”, your date of birth, your home town and your current place of residence.

14 Severability

If one or more provisions of this agreement should be or become invalid or un- enforceable, the balance of the agreement shall remain unaffected, thereby remaining in full force and effect. In this event, the parties shall substitute the invalid or unenforceable provision with a valid one which as closely as possible achieves the economic purpose of the invalid or unenforceable provision.

Statement of policy

In order to operate efficiently, LanguageBookings.com has to collect and use information about people with whom it works. These may include members of the public, current, past and prospective employees, clients and customers, and suppliers. In addition it may be required by law to collect and use information in order to comply with their booking service requirements. This personal information must be handled and dealt with properly, however it is collected, recorded and used, and whether it be on paper, in computer records or recorded by any other means, and there are safeguards within the Act to ensure this.
LanguageBookings.com regards the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as very important to its successful operations and to maintaining confidence between LanguageBookings.com and those with whom it carries on business.
